Actually, it’s more like vote for the workspace most deserving of a makeover. And what’s especially odd is how they all look similar. I guess we are all slobs in the same sorts of ways (and that way seems to be “piles of crap”). I’m leaning toward voting for this one because of the folding chairs amid piles of crap. Any votes? Post in comments.
And, yes, that’s my own workspace in the photo. Coffee? Check. Manuscript? Check. Laptop? Check. Calculator? Check.

Right now my office looks worse that ANY of those. Why? We’re nearing the end of the semester. . . I am mainly a winner in the “piles of crap” category.

Ah, but you’re in Academia. That’s like a totally separate competition….
That reminds me of a conversation I had with my parents (academics) about how they were going to be buried in books during an earthquake and die. They were not concerned. It seemed like the natural course of human events.

If I allowed my husband an entire room, his would look worse than any of them. But instead he’s restricted to a messy desk.
